  • Writing a project proposal or developing a project,
  • Funding applications
  • Social media and website issues
  •  Working to commission
  • Residencies and international opportunities
  • Marketing advice

Seminars and Networking Events

Seminars organised by Art Connections usually focus on good practice and specific topics that may be of benefit to artists’ career development. They often provide an opportunity for artists to hear speakers working at national and international level including other artists, curators, commissioners and funders, and for networking.

Mentoring Opportunities

Individual Mentoring for visual artists is available from Art Connections on an ad hoc basis as funding permits. Mentoring mainly focuses on creative practice development, is often provided as part of a package of support and may take place alongside commissioned work.

See Project Archive for further information about previous mentoring programmes.
