Please read these Customer Terms and Conditions carefully before ordering any products displayed on the Art Connections Website. You should understand that by ordering any of the products or services displayed on the Website, you agree to be bound by these Customer Terms and Conditions.

Ordering with us
To be eligible to purchase products on this website you must be over 18 years of age, stipulate a delivery address in the United Kingdom (PO box numbers and hotels are not acceptable) and possess a valid credit or debit card.
When you place an order, we’ll need your name, address, and e-mail address. Payments will be processed through PayPal. If you do not have a Paypal account you can still pay by credit or debit card securely through the Paypal service. If paying by phone we will also need credit / debit card number, card expiry date and security code. We do not store your credit / debit card details. When your request has been processed we’ll notify you by email of receipt of your order and you’ll be able to check if all the details are correct. We receive confirmation when your order is ready to be shipped delivered or collected and we’ll then let you know via email that it is on its way.
It is essential for us to have a contact telephone number so that we can reach you if there’s a problem with your order, or if your order requires a delivery quote. This information may be given to a courier in case they need to contact you about the delivery of your order and will help your order to be delivered efficiently.
Unfortunately we cannot fulfil any obligations if the product you ordered becomes out of stock, if an artist is unable to fulfil their order due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, or if we are unable to obtain authorisation for your payment, or if we identify a pricing or product description error.
You may purchase products displayed on the website through our online payment system using PayPal or by credit card over the phone on 01756 748529.
Payment for all products is at point of sale and not at point of despatch.
By entering card details onto our system you confirm that the credit or debit card being used is yours. All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery
By buying a product, you specifically authorise us to transmit information (including any updated information) or to obtain information about you from third parties, including but not limited to, your debit or credit card number or credit reports, to authenticate your identity, to validate your credit card, to obtain an initial credit card authorisation and to authorise individual purchase transactions.
The total cost of your order is the price of the products ordered plus the cost of your chosen delivery option. With some larger products we may need to get a quote for delivery to your shipping address. We will confirm this with you and process this payment separately and before despatch.
We reserve the right to reject any offer of purchase by anyone at any time.
Product Pricing & Descriptions
All prices published are in pounds sterling. Each product purchased is sold subject to its product description, which is provided by the artist who made the work.
Art and craftworks are not mass-produced and therefore slight variations in design and colour are always possible. We will try to represent each product as accurately as possible on our website but there may be some inaccuracies due to photographic reproductions or screen calibration. Measurements are given where appropriate but please do contact us if you need a particular measurement that is not stated.
Delivery Methods, Charges and times:
Each item will be listed with one of three delivery options:
- A pre-calculated delivery cost supplied by the artist based on the individual work for sale and a specified courier or Royal Mail. A signature is usually required upon delivery.
- Delivery of work by the Artist to the Customer either in person or through a courier company if necessary. This will apply to larger more fragile products and cost will be calculated based on Customer’s location. A signature is usually required upon delivery. The artist may charge for delivery depending on the customer’s location. This will be confirmed with the artist and the customer before the delivery date.
- Collection of work by the Customer from the artist or a designated pick-up point.
Depending on your selected delivery method, you will either be charged at checkout for a pre-calculated delivery cost or we will get back to you as soon as possible with a quote for delivery and to arrange a collection or delivery date. We will advise you of courier costs before taking payment for the courier service. If for any reason the courier cost is not agreeable to the Customer then we will try to find another delivery method or cancel the sale and offer the customer a refund for the purchased work/s.
Once we receive your order, we will contact the artist and arrange despatch of the products. We will aim to complete despatch of the item within 7 working days of receiving your order. As we are dealing with individual artists, this sometimes may take longer, especially if we need to arrange a specialist courier but we will contact you if there are any delays to your order.
Delivery Address Details
Please ensure that your delivery address details are correct. We cannot be held responsible for any delivery problems that may arise due to incorrect address details. Royal Mail and couriers may require a signature on delivery. If you indicate that a package can be left at your home or with a neighbour, this is at your own risk. Some couriers do not like to leave parcels unless signed for by the customer, so we cannot guarantee delivery if you are unable to receive the parcel yourself.
If you are outside of the UK and would like to order from us please email us at [email protected] to discuss and arrange a quote. Please note that customers are responsible for any import charges/duties that may be incurred and must comply with any local regulations.
Contract Cancellation, Returns and Refunds
If you change your mind you’re entitled to cancel your purchase, provided you do so no longer than fourteen days after the day on which you receive the products.

If your order has already been despatched please follow the procedure set out below.
We hope that you’ll be very happy with your purchases from Art Connections, but understand that occasionally you may wish to return an item and seek a refund. If this is the case you need to let us know in writing no longer than 14 days after the date on which you received the products.
Please email us at [email protected] with your contact details, your order details and let us know why you are returning an item so that we can put things right for you. You’ll then be sent a returns address and details of how to proceed.
Your item must be returned in good condition with its original packaging within 14 working days from the date you received the products.
You’ll be given a refund of the price of the product and the lowest delivery charge offered at purchase within 14 days of you despatching the goods. If you have bought more than one item from the same artist and keep one or more items, we will only refund the cost of the returned product and not refund any postage costs.
A proof of despatch is required. We will refund any money received from you using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase.
If you are returning an unwanted or unsuitable product, you are liable for the return cost of postage. If you return goods to us, please use an insured method of despatch and obtain proof of posting. We cannot accept liability or offer refunds for returned products that are lost or damaged in transit. Art Connections can offer advice on packing works and recommended courier services.
A deduction can be made if the value of the goods has been reduced as a result of the goods being handled more than necessary.

If the products are damaged or faulty, you must return the products to the supplying artist at an address supplied by Art Connections. You will be entitled to receive a full refund, including the lowest delivery cost offered at purchase, plus the cost of returning the products by insured delivery. Art Connections can offer advice on packing works and recommended courier services.
We will process refunds using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase.
If returned products are found to be damaged and this is found to be the fault of the buyer, the buyer will be liable for the cost of repairing such damage or the full cost of the product if it cannot be repaired.
We only supply the products for domestic and private use. You agree not to use the products for any commercial, business or resale purposes and we have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity. We cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it is an obvious consequence of breach or if it was contemplated by you and us at the time the product was supplied. We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance, of any of our obligations that is caused by an event outside our control
Art Connections is a UK based website, working in accordance with the UK Data Protection Act 1998. We use SSL encryption technology, which is a secure system that protects your personal information when you enter potentially sensitive details on the site.
We collect data about you when you place an order, join our mailing list or contact us. You’ll always be able to unsubscribe from any mailing list. We take your personal privacy very seriously and will not sell, distribute or disclose information about you unless approved by you or unless we are required to do so by law.
When you place your order you’ll be asked if you would like your details to be added to our mailing list. We run this as an ‘opt-in’ rather than ‘opt-out’ system as we respect your privacy. If you opt to join our mailing list we’ll only use your details for ordering/delivery purposes and to tell you about our news, special offers, new products, or changes to our site. You can unsubscribe at any time.
We will of course take all reasonable care, in so far as it’s in our power to do so, to keep your personal details, the details of your order and payment secure but, in the absence of negligence on our part, we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from our website.
